When citizens in Lowell and Middlesex County, Massachusetts met to plan for how to deal with a neglected superfund site in Concord, MA, RQP’s methods were used to allow citizens a chance to weigh in with their concerns and suggestions before the experts began talking. One of the organizers of the meeting described RQP’s strategy as the best way to make it possible for ordinary citizens to participate in planning processes with experts and to be able to ask their own questions.
